beyond music, with Buganda Kingdom Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga describing her trip as a major boost for tourism and cultural promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spice, whose real name is Grace Latoya Hamilton, is in Uganda ahead of her \u201cLet\u2019s Get Spiced Up\u201d concert scheduled for May 9 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her stay, the singer paid a courtesy visit to Bulange Mengo, the headquarters of the Buganda Kingdom, where she met the Katikkiro together with ministers serving under Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her visit has attracted attention from both entertainment lovers and tourism officials who believe such international stars can help shine a bigger spotlight on Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the meeting, Katikkiro said Uganda and Jamaica share deep historical and cultural connections because many Jamaicans trace their roots back to Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" countries, there are many similarities in culture, appearance, and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, visits from globally recognised personalities like Spice help tell Uganda\u2019s story to the rest of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that many people across the globe may become interested in visiting Uganda after seeing famous celebrities experience the country\u2019s culture and heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayiga also stressed that tourism is important because it creates jobs, brings income, and supports many businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He encouraged Ugandans to embrace leisure and appreciate the beauty of their own country by participating more in tourism activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concert itself is being organised by the Uganda Tourism Board together with the Buganda Heritage and Tourism Board as part of efforts to market Uganda internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organisers hope the event will attract both local and international attention while combining entertainment with tourism promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of her cultural experience, Spice also toured the famous Kasubi Royal Tombs, one of Buganda\u2019s most respected heritage experiences with millions of followers around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With excitement building ahead of her concert, many people now see Spice\u2019s visit as more than just a music
