The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages and prayers from fans across social media.

For the couple, the birth represents a new chapter after years of a relationship that has frequently drawn attention from fans across East Africa.

The newborn is Zuchu’s first child. Zuchu’s real name is Zuhura Othman Soud.

Diamond Platnumz, born Naseeb Abdul Juma, is already a father to children from previous relationships.

The couple’s announcement was accompanied by a heartfelt message celebrating the arrival of their daughter.

“Welcome to the world, our precious little angel. You are already loved more than words can ever say!”

The post became the first public confirmation that the baby had arrived.

At the time of publication, no additional details about the child’s name, birth weight or hospital had been officially announced.

The birth follows the couple’s pregnancy announcement made on July 30, 2026. On that day, Zuchu shared maternity photographs revealing her baby bump.

She also posted ultrasound images as part of the announcement. The photos generated widespread attention among fans throughout East Africa.

Diamond later confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram with a separate message. “New heart beats in the family”

That announcement further fuelled excitement among supporters who had closely followed the couple’s relationship.

Before welcoming their daughter, Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu hosted a baby shower and gender reveal celebration attended by friends, family and close associates.

The couple also shared moments from the celebration on social media. One of the highlights of the event was Diamond’s gift to Zuchu worth TSh 78 million

The gesture attracted significant discussion among fans following the celebration. Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have remained among the most closely followed celebrity couples in the region.

Their relationship has experienced several public highs and lows since 2021. Before that, Zuchu had joined Wasafi Records (WCB) in 2020.

The pair later became musical collaborators while also pursuing a romantic relationship. Their separation at one stage generated widespread discussion among supporters.

They later appeared together publicly again, with their reunion becoming evident through social media interactions and public appearances.

Their journey has continued to attract interest from fans who have followed both their music careers and personal lives.

Away from their personal lives, Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have worked together on several successful songs.

Among their collaborations are Cheche, Litawachoma, Wana, Mtasubiri, Nani and Inama.

Those releases have helped establish the pair as one of the most recognisable musical partnerships in Bongo Flava.

Their latest family milestone is therefore likely to resonate with audiences who have followed both their professional collaborations and relationship over the years.

For now, the confirmed focus remains on the arrival of the couple’s daughter. Neither Diamond Platnumz nor Zuchu has publicly announced the baby’s name.

The Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu baby announcement marks an important personal milestone for two of Tanzania’s biggest music stars.

Coming just days after the public confirmation of the pregnancy and following years of a relationship that has remained in the spotlight, the birth of their daughter opens a new chapter for the couple.

While many details surrounding the newborn have not yet been released, the confirmed announcement has already prompted an outpouring of congratulations from fans celebrating the family’s newest addition.
