Counsel Julius Nandeeba officially launched his new book titled From Rural Roots to National Impact on April 25 at Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi, Kampala.
The event attracted a large crowd made up of government officials, Members of Parliament, URA staff, family members, friends, and invited guests who gathered to witness the launch of a book many described as a story of discipline and hard work.
Nandeeba, a Legal, Accounting and Tax expert working with the Uganda Revenue Authority and also a Director at Capital College of Accountancy and Management, used the moment to share his life journey from humble beginnings to national influence.
Among the notable guests in attendance were Hon. Michael Timuzigu Kamugisha, the MP for Kajara County, Hon. Ivan Bitahwire, Hon. Gloria Kamayangyi, and several other leaders who came to support him.
Senior officials and speakers at the event praised Nandeeba’s work ethic, describing him as a committed professional who has contributed significantly to public service and tax administration in Uganda.
One of the speakers, Senior Counsel Cephus Birungi, who serves as Commissioner of Domestic Taxes at the Uganda Revenue Authority, used his remarks to reflect on leadership, discipline, and the value of hard work.
He said, “Success is not an accident. Greatness is not a coincidence. Impact is not luck. Impact is engineering.”
He also spoke about how consistent effort and discipline shape long-term success, encouraging attendees to focus on building character alongside professional growth.
He further noted, “When things are hard, this is the moment that defines you. You must have discipline to move forward even when the path is not easy.”
The Chief Guest also shared experiences from working with Nandeeba at URA, describing him as a reliable and sharp thinker who provides practical solutions in complex tax matters.
He said, “He is the person I call when things are difficult. He always gives direction and helps us see what others cannot see.”
In his own emotional speech, Julius Nandeeba told guests that the book was not just a publication but a message built from struggle, discipline, and survival.

He said, “Tonight is not just the launch of a book. It is the launch of a message born in struggle and refined through discipline.”
He added, “This book is not a celebration of success. It is a testimony of survival and a blueprint for growth.”
Nandeeba also shared deeply personal moments from his life, revealing how he lost his mother at the age of five and his father at fourteen, experiences that shaped his early life and forced him to develop resilience at a young age.
He said, “I was not born into privilege. I was born into possibility.”
He emphasized that success comes from discipline, education, and faith, and not from luck or background.
He said, “Success is not an accident. Impact is not luck. It is engineering.”
The event also focused heavily on themes of discipline, leadership, and long-term thinking, with speakers encouraging young people to stay focused and build skills that can transform their lives.
Attendees described the book launch as inspiring, noting that it brought together leaders, professionals, and young people in a shared message of hard work and responsibility.

As copies of From Rural Roots to National Impact begin to circulate, many expect it to serve as a motivational guide for students, professionals, and leaders seeking to build meaningful impact through discipline and purpose.
