Uganda is mourning the loss of respected educationist Kizito Mukalazi, the founder and director of Hormisdallen Schools, whose death on Friday, April 24, 2026, has left many in shock across the education sector and beyond.

Leaders across the country quickly shared heartfelt messages following news of his passing, describing him as a humble and hardworking man whose impact reached far beyond classrooms.
